Clovers and Grasses

DC 990 Red Clover

If you require a long-term red clover to make your rotation work and a medium red simply won’t do – then plant DC 990 long term red clover. In addition to getting a variety that will last three or more years, you get an improved variety with all of the updates to the disease resistance package that help your stand last longer. DC 990 has demonstrated faster spring green up and fast recovery after cutting or grazing which increases yield. Makes a nice mix with Organic Platinum Alfalfa and Check Mate Orchardgrass.

Non-treated/ non-GMO. Not Coated – 50 lbs. of seed; pre-inoculated with OMRI approved Prevail

Premium Grass Mix

Nice blend of three cool season grasses and two later season grasses that deliver a lot of nutritious forage early in the season. Some of the grasses will tolerate heat in the summer without going dormant. We recommend adding a legume-like alfalfa or clover to produce forage later in the summer and add nitrogen to help feed the grass. Seed at 25-40 lb. per acre.

25% Tetraploid Perennial Ryegrass

25% Orchardgrass

25% Cow Girl Fescus

15% Timothy

10% Italian Ryegrass
